Generally, what inspires you to read?
It's a rare joy/treat for me to read for pleasure; just depends on what strikes my interest at the moment. I enjoy prose that really focus on character development, real life stories, stories that emphasize a specific culture, and social commentary.
When did you first read The God of Small Things?
Senior year of college.
How did you come to read this book?
Class with Dr. Sachdev.
Why has this book inspired you the most?
The look into Indian culture was moving and inspiring.
