Generally, what inspires you to read?
I read because I like to better myself and expand my ideas. I've been reading since I was little and I've always loved it!
When did you first read Ordinary People?
I read it the summer before sophomore year in high school.
How did you come to read this book?
It was assigned reading for my American English class.
Why has this book inspired you the most?
This book inspired me not by the events in the book, but by the overall message. The message demonstrates that even stereotypically "normal" people aren't normal.
In reading this book, how has your life been influenced or changed?
It is indicative of what I want to do with psychology. I want to help people with problems who try to fit into a "normal" world.
